Logistics firm cargo-partner has continued to expand its presence in the UK with the addition of a new office close to Heathrow Airport.

The company said the new office is in response to "growing customer demand from local customers".

The company also has UK offices in Manchester, Basildon and Bradford and in 2022 acquired Aztek International Freight.

Neil Murray, managing director of cargo-partner in the UK, said: “It’s been a fantastic year – we’re continuing to invest in the team, launch new products and solutions across our vast portfolio, and this new London office sees us continue to deliver on our growth strategy, providing another great location for us to support our clients and partners.

“As the capital city of England and a major economic center in Europe, London attracts a diverse range of industries and businesses. Our new office is ideally located next to London Heathrow Airport – one of the busiest airports in Europe – providing excellent connectivity and a network of transport options.”

In line with the new office opening, the company has appointed Jimi Copperwheat as area manager south and national product manager of air cargo.

Copperwheat will oversee operations from the new office and is looking to fill several other new positions in the coming months.

He has worked in the logistics and transport industry for more than 30 years and has held senior positions in airfreight, commercial and operations.
