Broker Air Charter Service (ACS) France saw its revenues increase rapidly in the first half of the year, helped by the performance of its cargo business.
ACS France, which last year appointed a new leadership team, saw its revenues increase by 91% year on year in the first half of 2022.
Alexandre Busila, chief executive of ACS France, said: “Cargo flight volumes have also seen fantastic growth on all of the previous three years – 78% up on 2021 and currently 20% above pre-pandemic levels.
"After the initial spike in 2020 of shipping PPE, we are now back to charters for automotive parts, project logistics, livestock, textiles and even perishables.”
He added that revenues for the passenger side of the business were up 94% on 2020 and the group charter division had improved by 71% on a year ago.
ACS chief executive Justin Bowman added: “The office has gone from strength to strength over the past 12 months or so – we made some major changes, which involved some difficult decisions, but that were for the long-term benefit of the company.
"Since Alex and his new leadership team have been in place, we are now in good shape to look to the future and to expand the team. We have plans for further investment in France and we feel that Alex’s success has laid the groundwork for this.”
