Asia Airfreight Terminal (AAT) recently struck a deal with Air Premia to serve as the cargo terminal operator for the airline’s inaugural route from Seoul Incheon to Hong Kong.
Air Premia introduced four weekly flights using Boeing 787-9 aircraft, with service commencing on 24 January. Hong Kong International Airport-based AAT said the new route would boost belly capacity between the two regions.
“We are excited to partner with AAT as we launch our new route between Incheon and Hong Kong,” said Daniel Kim, vice president of the cargo division at SATS-owned AAT
“AAT’s reputation for excellence in cargo handling and terminal operations aligns perfectly with our commitment to providing top-tier service. This partnership will undoubtedly enhance our cargo operations and contribute to our continued success in the region.”
AAT chief executive Mike Chew added: “We warmly welcome Air Premia to Hong Kong and are honored to be their cargo terminal operator. Their commitment to high standards complements AAT’s values perfectly. We look forward to supporting Air Premia’s growth and ensuring seamless operations for their flights.”
Earlier this month, DHL Aviation selected AAT and SATS HK to provide cargo and ramp operations at Hong Kong International Airport.
AAT provides cargo handling services for leading airlines, including physical cargo handling, documentation processing, and specialised solutions.
