British Airways has reinstated around half of its flights on September 27 after pilots called off their planned strike.
The IAG-owned airline had previously cancelled all flights for the day when pilot union BALPA announced it planned industrial action as part of a dispute over pay and conditions.
"If your flight was cancelled as a result of this industrial action, you now have the option to rebook on to a British Airways flight operating between 26 – 28 September, subject to availability," British Airways said in a statement earlier today.
IAG Cargo said: "Should you wish to make bookings on the British Airways network on 27 September, please visit IAGCargo.com or contact your account manager to discuss your options."
BALPA said previous strikes that took place on September 9 and 10 had “demonstrated the anger and resolve of pilots”.
“It was now time for a period of reflection before the dispute escalates further and irreparable damage is done to the brand,” BALPA added.
The strikes that took place earlier this month had brought cargo activities on British Airways aircraft to a standstill.
Flights and cargo services on other IAG airlines were unaffected by the the strike action.
