Air Cargo News is sad to report the death of Beti Ward, the founder and chief executive of Pacific Air Cargo.
Beti, who passed away after a brief illness, was a pioneer in the US air cargo industry and a savvy lady in a man's world.
She was a panelist at our Freighters World conference in Chicago last year, where she provided great industry insight.
Roger Hailey, editor of Air Cargo News, said: "Beti was a generous person who would always find time to listen and share her industry knowledge and experience. She will be greatly missed."
