The prototype Hybrid Air Vehicles Airlander 10 Airship has been damaged while landing at Cardington Airfield in the UK. There are no reports of injuries.
It made its maiden flight earlier this month on August 18 (see video below).
According to the BBC the £25m vehicle, described as the world's largest aircraft, is understood to have sustained damage to its cockpit when it hit the ground.
Hybrid Air Vehicles Ltd (HAV), the developer, was quoted as saying that all the crew were "safe and well". A spokesman said: "The flight went really well and the only issue was when it landed."
A debrief is being carried out and a further update will be provided after that.
