Air Menzies International (AMI) has announced its new New Zealand branch manager: Shane Pillanger.
Pillanger, who has more than 24 years of freight forwarding experience, will oversee operations at the AMI Auckland and Christchurch branches.
He has previously held positions at Fliway International New Zealand, Vanguard Logistics Services and Nippon Express New Zealand.
Commenting on his new role, Pillanger said: "I am really looking forward to my future with AMI. I like to find opportunities in every challenge, so to have the opportunity to lead the AMI team in New Zealand and grow the business by creating strong long-term partnerships with clients is one I find really exciting."
Working alongside Pillanger is sales manager Yvette Firth.
Firth has 35 years of experience, including roles at Menlo Worldwide Forwarding, EGL Eagle Global Logistics and global giant DB Schenker, where she held major roles including freight forwarding operations manager and trade lane manager.
