Air France KLM Martinair Cargo (AF-KLMP) has joined hands with CSafe Global to launch the ULD pharma specialists' new RAP e-container.
A spokesperson for the Franco-Netherlands carrier said: "As the most robust operational container, this new electrical container will allow us to offer state-of-the-art service to our customers in the pharmaceutical industry."
Fabrice Panza, AF-KLMP’s head of product and development pharma logistics, said: “With its unmatched capabilities at extreme ambient temperature and its improved battery, this new RAP container will enable us to offer even more reliable solutions on extra-long-range shipments with best-in-class maintained of the temperature setting.

Sebastien Berrous, CSafe global strategic sales director and key account director for AF-KLMP explained: “The industry has identified lanes where efficiencies can be achieved by utilizing RAPs versus multiple RKNs.
"The CSafe RAP offers the expanded cargo capacity (up to five Euro-pallets or four US-pallets) needed to accommodate larger cold-chain shipments."
