Air France KLM Martinair Cargo will add extra capacity to services over the coming weeks as it looks to capitalise on the busy winter season.
The Franco-Dutch airline said that it will add capacity on services to South Africa, Thailand, Mauritius and the Caribbean from October 25.
In Africa, the airline will boost capacity by operating twice-weekly full-freighter services to Cairo. In West Africa, it will launch new full-freighter services to Pointe-Noire, Brazzaville and Douala, and resume service to Entebbe.
This will bring the total number of weekly freighter services between its Amsterdam and Paris hubs and Africa to no fewer than 41.
“We will also pursue our focus on Asia. Here we will broaden the range of services we offer by way of a strategic network developed in partnership China Southern,” AF KLM said.
“This will enable us to offer customers a combination of wide-body, belly-cargo carriers and full-freighter capacity between our European and Chinese destinations, and beyond via the extensive network of our Chinese partner.”
