LOVE is in the air thanks to Air France-KLM-Martinair Cargo.

The airline grouping has been adding additional capacity to meet peak demands for fresh-cut flowers for Valentine’s Day.

From 30 January to 9 February, more than 800 tonnes of flowers originating from Nairobi, Kenya and Andean countries, including Columbia, will be flown to Europe.

“Once again this year, by adding full charter flights and aircraft upgrades, Air France-KLM-Martinair Cargo is proud to show its commitment and dedication to the flower industry, “ says a spokesperson.

The largest part of this additional capacity is aimed primarily at supplying the British, Dutch and Russian markets with fresh cut flowers.
