Dominik Stehle has been appointed as freight forwarder deugro's new chief commercial officer.

The move will see Stehle return to the project specialist where he previously worked for more than a decade before taking a management position in the heavylift shipping industry.

He will report directly to the co-chief executive, ensuring a "unified strategy and vision across deugro’s commercial operations" and joins in early fourth quarter.

"His expertise will be pivotal in enhancing deugro’s service offerings, driving growth, and reinforcing deugro’s position as a leader in the industry," the company said.

Thomas Press, owner of deugro, said: “I am extremely pleased and excited to announce that Dominik will rejoin deugro as the chief commercial officer (CCO). Dominik is not only familiar with our organization’s culture and operations but also brings a wealth of fresh ideas and perspectives from his experiences gained in the heavylift shipping industry.

"We are confident that his unique blend of insider knowledge and external insights will be instrumental in driving our company forward."

Stehle added: “After having gained new perspectives on the market from outside the company, I look very much forward to rejoining the deugro team and contributing to the development and future success of a true and long-term market leader in the project logistics space."
