Animal air charter specialist Intradco Global has helped organise the transport of more than 3,000 animals around the world in just six days.
The operation saw the Intradco team transport live animals from the UK to China, from the US to Qatar and China, and from Denmark to Russia. The team transported a total of 3,146 pigs and 199 cattle on five separate charter flights for different clients over the six days.
The US-China flight went from Chicago O'Hare to Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport, while the Qatar flight was from Washington Dulles to Doha. On the UK operation, the flight took place between Stansted and Ürümqi and the Denmark-Russia flight was from Billund to Vladivostok.
“As we grow our global footprint, the focus is on developing our expert teams in key import and export markets. It is exciting to see really collaborative relationships with airlines and shippers in new markets. Live animal shipments require close and accurate communication between all stakeholders involved,” said Charlie McMullen, Intradco Global Director.
