Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) has partnered with IT provider Transputec to increase the safety and security of its cargo operations across its network.
The partnership will see Transputec providing 24-hour monitoring of WFS’ aviation cargo and ground handling operations, which includes 21,800 employees at 171 stations in 22 countries across five continents.
As part of the monitoring process, Transputec will assign a cyber security team to WFS to identify security risks or incidents, "helping to resolve them before they become an issue".
"Transputec will supply WFS with all the relevant technology and services delivered in collaboration with ThreatSpike Labs, the cyber security intelligence company," a spokesperson for WFS explained.
