Qatar Airways Cargo has continued its digital drive through the implementation of Champ Cargosystems’ Traxon cargoHUB platform.
Champ said the platform will "optimise the digitisation" of communication technologies.
"This partnership will improve the carrier’s data quality and flow, regardless of system or data format, thereby resulting in higher productivity, efficiency and lower costs," Champ claimed.
The carrier will also be included in Traxon Premium Tracking, a shipment tracking service, and multicarrier booking portal Freight.Aero. The portal is connected to more than 50 airline through APIs.
Guillaume Halleux, chief officer cargo at Qatar Airways, said: “To provide seamless online bookings to our customers in this age of digitalization, we require state-of-the-art solutions and [this platform] is the right tool for this purpose.”
