Following essential upgrades to its core cargo management system, Hermes Logistics Technologies (HLT) is now implementing Hermes 5 (H5) at Etihad’s Abu Dhabi base.
H5 is a cargo management system that enables elements in the supply chain, as well as and third-party applications, to collaborate seamlessly.
The H5 update includes improvements to the system's usability; advanced integration capability with external applications; and artificial intelligence for optimising business and handling processes.
H5 also forms the core of Hermes NG, a cloud-based suite of cargo management applications that include Business Intelligence, Track&Trace and eCheck-in for customised cargo management solutions.
Frank Meyer, chief digital officer, Etihad Aviation Group, explained: “Etihad and Hermes Logistics Technologies have been collaborating since 2015 and we welcome the latest digital solution offered by our trusted partners.”
